goText++ Desk! is a free software to send free SMS (and MMS) messages from your Windows, Linux, or MacOSX computer.

You can take goText++ Desk! on any USB drive and send free SMS (or cheap SMS) from any personal computer, with your data encrypted with secure AES-192 encryption.

The J2ME client and sms scripts are released under GPL v2 license, so if you are an advanced user you can modify everything and also get involved in development.

Current goText Versions:

* goText 2.3.1 (Lite): if your mobile phone only supports JAR size up to 64 Kb this version is for you. Has the same features as goText 2.3.1 standard, it simply lacks all images but one.

* goText 2.3.1 (standard): the standard version, that is smaller in size

* goText 2.3.1 (non obfuscated build): if above version won't run on your phone, try this one. Has the same features as goText 2.3.1 standard, but is a little bigger because it's not obfuscated. Some mobile phones don't like obfuscation so you may have luck if the above one don't work.

You don't need to have the latest cell phone to run goText. You simply need a mobile phone that is:

* Java enabled

* GPRS enabled

As goText is designed to run on all mobile phones running Java.
