Michelle Obama's live Web Chat on Child Obesity

By ChatRooms.NET - 2010-07-13

First Lady Michelle Obama will be taking questions from the public during her first live Web chat, as part of the launch of the Let’s Move! Web site. Let's Move! is her campaign to solve the childhood obesity epidemic.

The First Lady will answer your questions on the Let’s Move! initiative to solve the epidemic of childhood obesity during a live event that is moderated by AOL Health.

You can participate by submitting questions now or during the chat. Then tune in to the live event at 10:00 AM EDT on Tuesday, July 13 here on www.LetsMove.gov or over on AOL.

Earlier this year, First Lady Michelle Obama announced a nationwide campaign, Let’s Move!, aimed at solving the challenge of childhood obesity within a generation. AOL is facilitating Mrs. Obama’s live web chat in order to reach American moms. By reaching out directly to moms in a live web chat format, Mrs. Obama can talk about strategies to address childhood obesity in the place where that conversation can have a significant impact, the home.

Here’s how to submit questions to the event with the First Lady:

* Submit questions in advance via email to askmichelleobama@aol.com (please include your name and town)

* Ask questions live during the chat through Facebook

* Watch the live stream at 10:00 AM EDT on Tuesday, July 13th on AOL or LetsMove.gov

AOL Health will moderate the Web chat, which will start at 10 a.m., but you can submit questions anytime from now until the chat.

Date: Tuesday, July 13 - Time: 10:00 am ET - Location: www.aolhealth.com
