On December 8th, 2010, Stephen King fans will have a chance to chat with the man himself.

Stephen King was born September 21, 1947 and is an American author of contemporary horror, suspense, science fiction and fantasy fiction.

His books have sold more than 350 million copies and have been made into many movies. He is known for novels such as Carrie, The Shining, The Stand, It, Misery, and the seven-novel series The Dark Tower, which King wrote over a period of 27 years.

As of 2010, King has written and published 49 novels, including seven under the pen name Richard Bachman, five non-fiction books, and nine collections of short stories including Night Shift, Skeleton Crew, and Everything's Eventual.

Join bestselling author Stephen King in a live chat about his new book, Full Dark, No Stars.

Full Dark, No Stars, published in November 2010, is a collection of four novellas by the author Stephen King, all dealing with the theme of retribution. One of the novellas, 1922, is set in Hemingford Home, Nebraska: home of Mother Abagail from King's epic novel The Stand (1978), the town adult Ben Hanscom moves to in It (1986), as well as the setting of the short story "The Last Rung on the Ladder" (1978).

The four novellas are:

• 1922 When Wilfred and his wife move onto land willed to her by her father, it sets in motion a gruesome sequence of events that leads to madness…and murder.
• Big Driver Tess, a mystery writer, takes a shortcut home, only to run into a nightmare more terrifying than her stories.
• Fair Extension In this darkly funny tale, cancer patient Dave Streeter decides to make a deal with the devil, but as always, there is a price to pay.
• A Good Marriage Darcy learns more about her husband of 20 years than she would have liked to know when she stumbles across a mysterious box in their garage.
