Twitter is changing our daily routines and the way we do business. This Twitter chat room is an outlet for Twitter members to get to know some of the friends they've met on Twitter. You can select from various chat rooms categories and are able to follow members and meet interesting people. If you’re in the business room you can safely talk about your business without spamming.

The Twitter Chat Room website was developed so members can share ideas on what to improve on, and what should go.

The concept of a dedicated chat room(s) where Twitter members can get together is a great idea. However, maybe the rooms pick up at certain times, but, when tested the Twitter Chat Rooms (there are currently 10 rooms categorized by topic), were extremely quiet, ie. lacked any chatters. TweetChat allows you to chat about one topic. Choosing a hashtag (topic) directs you to a TweetChat room. Each tweet automatically gets the hashtag added and the room auto-updates. You can use the "User Control" area to feature people you like or to block spammers - http://tweetchat.com

3 - Savor Chat

Savor Chat is a very simple free group chat application for Facebook and Twitter users. You can create and host your own chat room, make your chat room public or private with password protection, send direct messages to 1 or more users within a room, and schedule when your chat room is open. 4 - TinyChat Virtual Tweetup

This not only works for chatting to Twitter friends, but to anyone you wish to chat online with. Visit TinyChat and press "start chat" and you are then given a tinychat URL. Simply send that URL to the person you wish to chat with. They click and enter the chat room. You can send the link to any number of people and they can all join you in the room.
