• Converse in real-time - Each tweet automatically gets the hashtag added and the room auto-updates.
• You can use the "User Control" area to feature people you like or to block spammers.

Tweetchat is a "must have" for participating in Twitter chats. Not only does it stream the tweets in, but it also allows you to both pause and set the refresh rate - something that many wish NewTwitter and Tweetdeck will some day implement! The fact that it has other key Twitter functions (reply, retweet, favorite) just adds to its usefulness during chats. My only current request is that it had multi-user reply as NewTwitter

Because tweetchats are so interactive and real-time, the organizer often invites participants to suggest questions or discussion topics during the tweetchat. That way participants can help shape the direction of the chat.
