ReadSpeaker Speech Enables iPhone apps Via AudioMob Service

VoiceCorp has developed an application for iPhone and iPod Touch that allows organizations to create a speech-enabled iPhone app, so that iPhone and iPod Touch users can listen to your information instead of (or in addition to) reading it. The application is called “ReadSpeaker AudioMob”. In addition to the iPhone, the application can also be made available for Android phones, for Blackberries and for Java based phones.

By giving your end-users access to an audio version of the information in the app (such as latest updates), information can be made available anywhere and at any time, while enriching the user experience. Users don’t need to synchronize their iPhones to listen to the latest information, these are updated automatically and on-the-fly directly to the audio iPhone app, that can be branded with your logo.

Dow Jones MarketWatch recently launched its iPhone app that is speech-enabled by ReadSpeaker audioMob. The text-to-speech function in their Top Stories section allows users to listen to articles directly from the iPhone.

With ReadSpeaker AudioMob, information will be accessible to a larger audience by reaching those that prefer to listen to information, rather than read it. This can range from people with reading difficulties to business people that want to listen to the latest news, or any other information, while doing something else.

ReadSpeaker AudioMob is immediately available to organizations worldwide. They can deliver the service in 20 languages.

VoiceCorp has also opened a strategic new office in the US. Located in Tysons Corner, McLean, Virginia, the office will coordinate the company's activities in the US.
