White House Video Chat Answers Questions

The White House National Security Council chief took questions from the online public following President Obama’s statements before reporters.

President Barack Obama’s statements to reporters Thursday regarding national security was followed by a White House video chat with the online public.

As reported by the Associated Press (AP), White House Chief of the National Security Council, Denis McDonough, addressed questions via an online video streamed through the blog of the White House, which included a Facebook page link that allowed viewers to ask questions.

As noted by the AP, the chat lasted for approximately 20 minutes, during which time users asked questions on various matters including classified and publicly released security report differences. McDonough reportedly also discussed plans for increased anti-terrorism measures, which were previously mentioned by Obama and his aides.
